This illustration was made for the December 2021 cover of NATURE, a scientific magazine. The theme was to represent ecosystems and show how they are connected to each other. In my illustration we start from the micro-ecosystem of plankton up to the macro-ecosystem of planets and the universe. There is an animation about this illustration. Click here to see it!
